2026 President Cup Tournament

The 2026 President’s Cup is a 54-hole (three-round) net stroke-play satellite tournament played across the summer. Your objective is simple: post your best 54-hole net total over three rounds and earn your way into the October championship.

Tournament Overview

• Tournament Window: May 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026

• Total Rounds: 3 (18 holes each)

• Monthly Limit: Maximum one (1) President’s Cup round per calendar month

• Entry Fee: $30 (100% paid out to players)

• Registration Opens: February 2, 2026, at 12:00 AM

• Registration Closes: April 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM

• Flights: 3–4 flights based on Los Verdes Tournament Index as of April 16, 2026

Eligibility & General Information

• Open to all current Los Verdes Men’s Club members with a valid SCGA Handicap Index.

• Rounds may be played from White or Blue tees.

• Players make their own tee time reservations at Los Verdes Golf Course.

• Rounds may be played concurrently with:

  • Any LVMGC stroke-play tournament, or

  • Any official club activity round where the format is stroke-play.
    (Player must play their own ball tee-to-green. No gimmies — all putts must be holed.)

  • Match play rounds cannot be used for President Cup scoring.

Tournament Flights

• A maximum of four (4) flights.

• Flights determined after registration closes on March 15, 2026.

• Each flight winner advances to the Eclectic Championship in October 2026.

• If a flight winner cannot participate, the next eligible finisher will be invited.

Players are expected to read, understand, and follow all rules and procedures outlined below.
Failure to comply — whether knowingly or unknowingly — will result in round disqualification.
