This method is common in club tournaments and uses scores adjusted by handicap:Last 9 Holes: Compare gross scores on holes 10-18. Deduct 1/2 of the player's course handicap from that 9-hole total.
Last 6 Holes: If still tied, compare scores on holes 13-18. Deduct 1/3 of the course handicap.
Last 3 Holes: If still tied, compare scores on holes 16-18. Deduct 1/6 of the course handicap.
18th Hole: If still tied, compare the score on the 18th hole. Deduct 1/18 of the course handicap.
Further Steps: If still tied, the committee can use a coin toss, play another hole, or declare a tie.
