March Monthly Tournament – Foursome Two Best Ball

Spring tournament season continues at Los Verdes Men’s Golf Club with our March Monthly Tournament, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026. This month’s event will be played in a Foursome Two Best Ball format, promising a fun and competitive day where teamwork, consistency, and a few hot putters can make all the difference.

Players will compete for payouts in Team Low Net, Team Low Gross, Team CTP on Holes #5 and #12, and Mongol King Birdies or Better. Whether you are chasing the top of the leaderboard or just looking forward to a great day of golf with fellow members, this event should be another excellent club outing.

Registration opens on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 12:00 AM and closes on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM. The entry fee is $95.00 per golfer, which includes green fees, cart, warm-up balls, plus 4 beers and 2 appetizers per group. The first tee time is 6:30 AM.

This month’s tournament will be led by Tournament Captain John Keigharn.

Participation is open to all regular LVMGC members with a valid January 2026 SCGA Handicap Index.

Tournament Day Information

The event will be played under the 2026 USGA Rules, as modified by applicable local rules. All flights will play from the White standards. Players are asked to record gross scores on the scorecard, and all scores will be posted as Competitive Scores.

We are also continuing our move to digital scoring through the Golf Genius app. Each scorecard will include a code that can be used to enter scores on your iPhone or Samsung device. Players should still keep their paper scorecard, as it must match the scores entered into Golf Genius.

As always, LVMGC Pace of Play policies will be enforced.

• Unusual conditions in the sand trap

March Weekday Tournament

Date: Match 16-22, 2026
Course: Los Verdes Golf Course
Format: Individual Low Net

Round is played any day, Monday-Friday March. 16-20, 2026. Members are responsible for getting their own times and pay the starter for green fees/cart; there are no sign-up fees and no sign-up on Golf Genius. You must play with at least one other LVMGC member who must sign the scorecard.

Team Play Update: Both Teams Headed to the Playoffs!

We have great news to share from Team Play — both of our teams have officially qualified for the playoffs!

That’s a major accomplishment and something the entire club can be proud of. Making the postseason takes commitment from every player who suited up this season: showing up, competing, grinding out holes when it wasn’t pretty, and representing Los Verdes the right way. Congratulations to both teams for earning their spot.

Now it’s time for the next chapter.
