August 2026 Weekday Tournament
Partner Better Ball
The August 2026 Weekday Tournament will be played Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21, 2026. This month’s format is Partners Net Better Ball, so players should grab a partner and enjoy a fun team-style weekday competition. Members who are playing in the August Weekend Tournament are not eligible to compete in the Weekday Tournament.
Players are responsible for arranging their own tee times and paying the starter for green fees and cart. There are no sign-up fees and no Golf Genius registration for this event. Each player must play with at least one other LVMC member who can sign and attest the scorecard.
Play will be from the permanent white markers, except on the 1st tee where the movable markers will be used. Completed cards must be placed in the Blue Plastic Weekday Tournament Box in the Pro Shop. New members and players new to Weekday Tournament play should review the full information sheet before playing and contact Mike McCoy, Weekday Tournament Captain, with any questions.

August Member Meeting & Cornhole Tournament
LVMC members are invited to join us on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for our August Member Meeting featuring a fun Cornhole Tournament and BBQ Dinner. The evening will begin with our famous Putting Contest hosted by Jim Louder at 4:30 PM, followed by dinner and the meeting at 6:00 PM.
The Cornhole Tournament will feature two-man teams selected by random draw, making it a great opportunity to meet and enjoy time with fellow members. There is a $10 entry fee per person, and cash payouts will be awarded to the top four teams, with the payout amount based on participation. Members who want to play in the tournament must register by August 7 so brackets can be prepared in advance.
Dinner will include cheeseburgers, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, corn on the cob, green salad, macaroni salad, cookies, coffee, and tea. A veggie burger option will also be available upon request when registering. Walk-ups will only be accommodated for dinner, so please register early if you plan to compete in the Cornhole Tournament.
