Monthly Meetings
One of the cornerstones of the Los Verdes Men’s Golf Club experience is our Monthly Meetings. These gatherings are where the club connects, plans, celebrates, and builds momentum for the season ahead. Whether you’re a long-time member or brand new to LVMGC, our meetings are the best way to stay informed, get involved, and feel fully part of the club.

Where the Season Comes Together
July is here, summer is in full swing, and LVMC is ready to celebrate with a great evening of food, music, golf, and friendship at our July Monthly Meeting.
Join us on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, on the patio of the Vista Ballroom at Los Verdes Golf Course for a summer BBQ prepared by our very own Randy Sgro, featuring tri-tip, chicken, and classic sides including green salad, potato salad, baked beans, and dessert.
Come early and join the fun at our Famous Putting Contest, hosted by Jim Louder, starting at 4:30 PM. The monthly meeting and dinner will begin at 6:00 PM.
We are also excited to welcome Saxon Weiss as our featured entertainment for the evening. Saxon is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Southern California whose performances showcase an extraordinary range of musical styles. With a command of classical, jazz, blues, rock, bluegrass, and country music, Saxon brings versatility, technical skill, and expressive depth well beyond his years. He has shared the stage with numerous accomplished artists and continues to captivate audiences with dynamic performances that blend tradition, creativity, and youthful energy.

It’s the perfect mix of club news, friendly competition, and camaraderie—another great reason to make Monthly Meetings a regular part of your LVMGC season.
Prizes, Raffles, Food & Fun
If you win a tee time at the monthly meeting drawing, please send an email to the President of LVMGC at lvmgccgolf@gmail.com to submit your request. The President maintains the record of tee-time winners and will confirm your request.
To help ensure your tee time can be honored, requests must be submitted at least 21 days in advance. Please note that not all requests can be accommodated, as the course may already be reserved for other events, such as corporate or foundation tournaments. For this reason, the earlier you submit your request, the better.
The President will arrange the tee time on your behalf. In your email, please include when you won the tee time, as this will help verify your eligibility. You will need to make a reservation on that day for your deposit. The reservation that you will do will be for a late tee-time, like 5:00 pm. The Pro-Shop will then move your tee-time with the deposit to the one arranged on a prior day.
Please note that the tee time covers the reservation only and does not include payment. The winner who requests the tee time is responsible for payment for the entire foursome.
