LVMC July Monthly Tournament
The Orange Ball format creates excitement on every hole. Each group will be made up of an A, B, C, and D player based on handicap. The team score will include the score from the player assigned to the Orange Ball, plus the best net score from the remaining three players. That means every player matters, every hole has strategy, and the Orange Ball player will have their moment to help carry the team.
The Orange Ball rotation will keep the pressure moving throughout the round. The A player will handle holes 1–4 and 18, the B player will take holes 5–9, the C player will take holes 10–13, and the D player will take holes 14–17. It is a great format because it rewards both steady play and timely performance, while still allowing the team to lean on the best net score from the other three players.
This tournament may also be played at the same time as a President Cup or Eclectic Cup round. For members participating in the satellite tournaments, this is a great opportunity to complete a competitive round while also enjoying one of the most entertaining team formats of the summer.
Payouts and prizes will include Low Net Team Payouts, Closest to the Pin on Hole #3, and the Mongol King Birdies or Better on Hole #12. All flights will play from the White Moveable Markers, and scores will be posted as Competitive Scores.
The entry fee is $100 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, warm-up balls, 4 beers, and appetizers per group. Digital scoring will be used through the Golf Genius app, and players should also keep their paper scorecard to ensure it matches the scores entered into Golf Genius.
Registration is open now and closes on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 PM. This is a summer event you will not want to miss.

The LVMC July Monthly Tournament is bringing a fun and competitive summer format to Los Verdes with the Orange Ball Team Event on Sunday, July 19, 2026. With the first tee time at 6:30 AM, this event is a great opportunity for members to enjoy a team competition, test their game under pressure, and spend a summer morning competing with fellow LVMC members.
