2026 Blue Classic Tournament
The 2026 Blue Classic is a single-elimination, bracket-style 4-ball (partner’s better ball) satellite tournament. Your objective is simple: win your match each round, advance through the bracket, and reach the September championship.

Format: Single-Elimination 4-Ball (Better Ball) Match Play (Teams of 2)
Field Size: 64 teams maximum (128 players)
Team Entry Fee: $60 per team (teams must register together)
Registration Closes: April 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM

Eligibility & General Information
Tournament is limited to 64 teams.
Both golfers must have an established GHIN index at time of registration.
Must register as a team. No team changes after registration closes.
Blue/White pairing restriction: Any pair (team) that plays together in the White Classic may not play together again as a pair in the Blue Classic.
Players are responsible for coordinating and securing a starting time at Los Verdes Golf Course.
Tees: WHITE permanent markers, except Hole #1 from movable markers (per Los Verdes request).
“Winter Rules” are NOT in effect unless specifically authorized by the Greens Chairman / Tournament Committee and communicated in writing for that day.
Handicaps are based on your Los Verdes Index at the start of the round and may be adjusted during the tournament.
Scheduling: Both teams are responsible for coordinating and then securing a starting time. Teams must be flexible and schedule matches in a reasonable time. Failure to schedule and complete matches by each round deadline may result in disqualification (including both teams), pending review by the Satellite Tournament Chairman.
During registration, please note if your team can play weekdays, weekends, or both.
Important Notice
Players are expected to read, understand, and follow all rules and procedures outlined in the Official Rules & Procedures.
Failure to comply — whether knowingly or unknowingly — may result in match or round disqualification.
Key reminders:
If a match ends early (ex: 4 & 3), you may play out, but DO NOT enter scores for the remaining holes.
We are using Golf Genius for scoring and posting. DO NOT post your score to GHIN—the Satellite Tournament Chairman will post through Golf Genius.
Both teams must submit signed scorecards to the Satellite Tournament Chairman (details in the Official Rules).
Pace of play is strictly enforced: maximum 4:30 for all tournament play.
